Kia recently announced its partnership with DC Comics to develop Justice League-themed vehicles for charity. The first model to be revealed is the Batman-inspired Kia Optima.
The first of eight superhero-themed vehicles, the ‘Batoptimobile’ (our cheesy word) features a matte- and piano-black paint scheme, custom front grille shaped like a batwing, HID headlights with the iconic bat signal etched into them, yellow LED lighting accents and custom-designed 20-inch black alloy wheels. In the bat cabin, the seats are upholstered in custom black leather and suede with bold yellow accent stitching. The trunk houses a Bat suit and cowl for when you’re in the mood for some crime-fighting — cosplay style!
The special Optima also features a lowered coilover suspension and muscular ground effects kit, huge Ksport performance brakes and a performance exhaust system.
“Batman is one of the most popular Super Heroes of all-time, and showcasing in a fun and creative way Kia’s top-of-the-line Optima SX Limited as a Batman-themed custom ride underscores this car’s potent combination of premium features and turbocharged performance,” said Michael Sprague, executive vice president, marketing and communications, KMA.
